Spool Design Contest

The Boone fair was gifted many wooden electric spools, and we would like to use them around the fair as tables. That's where the SPOOL DESIGN CONTEST idea was born!

We thought it would be fun to have groups or individuals  participate in a group repurposing project contest. 
Completion deadline is asked to be July 13th so photos can be submitted on the fair page for public voting.

Cash prizes for 1st=$200 2nd= $100 and 3rd=$50 to the project with most likes on Facebook.

Make your spool designs as detailed as you want or as simple as you want. We just ask that the top be sanded to eliminate rough areas and have them weather sealed for many years of use. Keep in mind these will be moved around with a skid loader and stacked for storage so try not to put anything on them that may break in the process.

Upon completion the spools become property of the fairgrounds. All materials are the be purchased by the contestant.
